Born: 10/25/53 in Sidney,Ohio

Upbringing: Raised as a Roman Catholic on a small farm "out in the sticks" between Anna and Port Jefferson in rural Shelby County.

Marital status: Married with wife Kimberly and three children (now grown) residing in Piqua,Ohio.

Education: 1973 graduate of Lehman Catholic High School in Sidney,Ohio. Also was active in the high school band and 4-H.

E-mail spam,cel phones,"reality" TV,pickup trucks with "18 wheeler" engines,death metal,gangsta rap,the widening gap between the "haves and have-nots," "flashmovie" banner and popup ads on the internet,The continuing tabloidization of the news media,Radio stations reduced to "cookie cutter" clones now owned by cluster conglomerates, Narcissists,control freaks and other rabid souls who bang their own drum and climb up the ladder of success at the expense of using and hurting other people.

My biggest inspirations for me to be a broadcaster:

Don Pardo of NBC,Gene "By Golly" Barry and Steve Kirk of WING in Dayton,Paul Dixon,Ruth Lyons and Bob Braun of WLWT-TV in Cincinnati,Joe Rockhold and Ken Hardin (repectively as Uncle Orrie and Ferdy Fussbudget) of WHIO-TV in Dayton,Larry Lujack of WLS in Chicago,Ron Britain of WCFL in Chicago,Ted "The Bear" Richards and Byron McGregor of CKLW in Windsor,Ontario,the late great Wolfman Jack....

Favorite people in broadcasting:
